It is that time of the year again where we call for entries in to the Le Pine Triples.
The 2018 LePine Triples was held on the 18th of August. Last year we ran it on the 1st Sept, this allowed our green-keeper to work on the green during a good growth period. This clashed with a number of club practice matches and Father’s day. The Committee with our Major sponsor of the Day Le Pine Funeral Services, we set an earlier date of 18th of August.
The 2018 edition of the Le Pines Triples, will be held on August 18th 2018. Over the last few years we have moved the Le Pines triples from the summer break to before the season. Last year the tournament was during the AFL bye week in finals. That was a hard time for club as they all have practice matches etc during that time, before Pennant season kicks off. We have moved the Le Pines Triples to August this year to avoid all the practice match and the AFL.
New Start time for the Le Pines Triples.
Being in August we have moved the start time to 10:30am. With registration from 10am. We know that a number of teams travel from across the state, this should mean that we are finished early enough that they start their return trip in daylight.
Moving to an earlier time means that we also have to cater for the day, in the past we have provided Salad rolls, this year we will do a Lunch and nibbles at the end of the day.
Entry and Prizes.
The entry fee for this year is $30 per team. Registration starts at 10am. First Game at 10:30am, Entries close on 11th of August.
Prizes for the day:
1st Prize $540
2nd Prize $180
3rd Prize $ 90 (Best Last Game)
We look forward to hosting everybody at this years Triples.
